I am a professor in CLASP at the Department of Philosophy, Linguistics and Theory of Science (I am also currently Deputy Head of the Department and Head of Research) at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

My main interest is linguistic interaction, specifically how people use the resources provided by language in conversation to coordinate their understanding.  I am particularly interested in phenomena that are often considered to be outside the remit of linguistics, such as repair and compound contributions, which my PhD focused on.

Previously, I completed my PhD and was a post-doc with the Cognitive Science research group at Queen Mary University of London.
